WildRig
A GPU miner for NVIDIA, AMD and Intel cards, now in its rewritten form — WildRig NG. One binary mines Quantus, Pearl, Xelis, Conflux, Ergo, Nexa and the whole KawPoW family, with a live dashboard, backup pools and temperature protection.
Pros:
- One binary for all three vendors — NVIDIA, AMD and Intel Arc.
- Live dashboard in the terminal, with plain logs (--ui-plain) and a JSON statistics API for rig monitoring.
- Backup pools with automatic failover, and a temperature limit that pauses a card instead of cooking it.
- Built-in NVIDIA tuning: clocks, offsets, power limit and fans.
- HiveOS and mmpOS integrations ship in one package.
- Pearl, Conflux, Ergo and sha256d carry no dev fee.
Cons:
- This is the NG beta — a ground-up rework that upstream says will replace the classic WildRig at some point, so expect rough edges.
- The long tail of algorithms from WildRig Multi is gone; ten remain.
- GPU only, and the tuning options cover NVIDIA alone — AMD and Intel need your usual overclocking tool.
List of coins and algorithms:
- Quantus (QTC) — quantus
- Pearl (PRL) — pearlhash
- Xelis (XEL) — xelishashv3
- Conflux (CFX) — octopus, NVIDIA only
- Ergo (ERG) — autolykos2; needs a card with 8 GB
- Nexa (NEXA) — nexapow
- Ravencoin (RVN), Neurai (XNA), Neoxa (NEOX), Quai (QUAI) — kawpow
- Zano (ZANO) — progpowz
- QubitCoin — qhash
- sha256d
Fees
- autolykos2, octopus, pearlhash, sha256d — 0%
- kawpow, nexapow, progpowz, quantus, xelishashv3 — 1%
- qhash — 2%
Supported GPUs
- NVIDIA — Pascal (GTX 10 series) and newer, CMP cards included; pearlhash needs Tensor Cores, so Volta or newer.
- AMD — Polaris and newer; KawPoW and ProgPowZ also run on older cards. Pearlhash needs RDNA 2, 3 or 4.
- AMD Instinct (CDNA 1–4) — on Linux with ROCm, every AMD algorithm except pearlhash.
- Intel Arc — kawpow, nexapow, progpowz, qhash, quantus, xelishashv3 and sha256d.
