Blockz-miner 1.0.8a Bieżąca
Blockz-miner 1.0.8a - hotfix for Arc Pro B70 CMFD rigs (Linux)
Added: two CMFD switches to help track down the Arc Pro B70 hang.
--set compat=1runs the 1.0.4 CMFD GPU code (~16% slower).--set compat=2runs the current code with one 1.0.5 change undone.- The default is unchanged; every other algorithm is the same as 1.0.8.
Known issue: CMFD on Arc Pro B70 (Linux) can still hang after a few minutes on some multi-card rigs (it began with 1.0.5). The miner restarts itself cleanly. If you have such a rig, run with --set compat=1 or --set compat=2 and tell us which one stays up.
Still 0% dev fee. Full list: CHANGELOG.md. Downloads and SHA-256 sums below.
Windows: unzip and run blockz-miner.exe as administrator. Linux / HiveOS: see TESTING.md in the package; HiveOS uses blockz-miner-1.0.8a.tar.gz as a custom miner.
Blockz-miner 1.0.8
Blockz-miner 1.0.8 - Qubitcoin, Warthog, smaller downloads
New: Qubitcoin (QTC). --algo qtc on Intel Arc GPUs: ~1.68 GH/s per Arc B580 and ~389 MH/s per Arc A380, both tested on pools with accepted shares.
New: Warthog (WART). --algo warthog: ~740 MH/s on two B580s with a Ryzen 9 5900X (Janushash needs the GPU and the whole CPU together). Tested on HeroMiners.
Changed
- Pearl is now
--algo pearl(prlstill works). Quantus is now--algo quantus/quan;qtcnow means Qubitcoin, so Quantus configs and flight sheets usingqtcmust change. - Smaller downloads: Windows exe 16.9 MB (was ~24), Linux binary 18.5 MB (was 29.4).
- Pearl uses almost no CPU while waiting for the GPU.
- CMFD needs 8 GB of VRAM or more.
- Windows CPU power shows without any extra driver; CPU temperature is no longer shown on Windows.
Fixed
- A hung GPU no longer stalls the miner forever: it stops cleanly and exits with code 75 so HiveOS or systemd restarts it.
- CMFD on Arc Pro B70 (Linux): a GPU could hang on multi-card rigs.
Still 0% dev fee. Full list: CHANGELOG.md. Downloads and SHA-256 sums below.
Windows: unzip and run blockz-miner.exe as administrator. Linux / HiveOS: see TESTING.md in the package; HiveOS uses blockz-miner-1.0.8.tar.gz as a custom miner.
Blockz-miner 1.0.7
Blockz-miner 1.0.7 - Parano1d (NOID) on GPU and CPU, block counter, fixes
New: Parano1d (NOID).
--algo noidon Intel Arc GPUs: ~14 MH/s per Arc B580 (Arc B-series and Core Ultra 200V).--algo noid-cpuon the CPU: ~4.8 MH/s on a Ryzen 9 5900X (AVX2 / AVX-512 used when present).- Run both at once:
--algo noid --algo noid-cpu, same pool and wallet. Tested live on rplant.
New: blocks found counter. A share that also meets the network's block target is logged as BLOCK FOUND and counted on the dashboard and in the JSON API (PRL, CMFD, BC3, CSD, Verus, NOID).
Fixed
- PRL: a share could be rejected right after a new job.
- Ctrl-C now really sends the shares in flight before closing the pool connection.
- A wrong wallet is now reported (pools that refuse the login with a plain
false), and the miner moves to the backup pool. - GhostRider: very low pool difficulties no longer flood the pool with shares.
- A config mistake no longer exits silently when the dashboard is on.
- Failover to a backup pool is twice as fast when the main pool does not answer.
- RandomX no longer shows a made-up hashrate while it rebuilds its dataset.

Blockz-miner 1.0.6
Blockz-miner 1.0.6 - RandomX v2, smaller downloads, long-run fixes
New: RandomX v2 (rx/2) on --algo rx. ~10.6 kH/s on a Ryzen 9 5900X. Tested live on Zycord (ZCD) at rplant; also ready for Monero's move to v2.
Downloads about 45% smaller. Linux / HiveOS ~25 MB (was ~45), Windows zip ~14 MB (was ~26). Same contents.
Fixed
- RandomX: the miner could crash after a long run, when the coin changed its RandomX key.
- PRL: the miner could crash after hours of mining when the system ran short of memory while building a proof; it now skips that share and keeps mining.
- Arc Pro B70 on Windows runs CMFD from its precompiled kernel again.
Also
- Quantus is now
--algo quantus(QTC is also another coin's ticker);--algo qtcstill works. - New icon and file details on Windows, window title, and icon in the web dashboard.
- Licence texts for Argon2, sphlib, Raptoreum Core and .NET now ship in
licenses/.

Blockz-miner 1.0.5
Blockz-miner 1.0.5 - faster CMFD
CMFD: ~28 FW/s per B580, up from ~23.7 (+19%). Exact results, shares accepted live.
Also new
- CMFD: fewer stale shares on Arc B-series. Same hashrate, shares reach the pool sooner.
- CMFD: "busy" answers from the pool are no longer counted as rejected shares; the miner resends until the pool answers.
- CMFD: a card that keeps the bank in system RAM now checks for enough free RAM first and says so clearly, instead of crawling.
- Mining two GPU algorithms at once (e.g. prl + qtc, plus a CPU algorithm) now reads properly on the dashboard: every pool is listed and each algorithm gets its own hashrate. Tested live with prl + qtc + rx on one rig.
- Windows: forcing OpenCL no longer crashes the miner.
- Quieter log.
Full list: CHANGELOG.md. Downloads and SHA-256 sums below.
Windows: unzip and run blockz-miner.exe as administrator. Linux / HiveOS: see TESTING.md in the package; HiveOS uses blockz-miner-1.0.5.tar.gz as a custom miner.
Blockz-miner 1.0.4
Blockz-miner 1.0.4 - CommonFoundry on every Arc card
New: CommonFoundry (CMFD) on Arc A-series (A310 / A380 / A580 / A750 / A770).
- ~3.3 FW/s on an A380 (6 GB, slot-powered). Bigger cards scale with their Xe cores; A750 / A770 numbers to come.
- Tested on Windows and on HiveOS, accepted shares on both.
CMFD no longer needs the 6.4 GB bank in VRAM.
- Cards with under ~8 GB free VRAM keep the bank in system RAM and use well under 1 GB of VRAM. A B580 runs at full speed this way (~23 FW/s).
- Needs ~7 GB of free system RAM per such GPU: 16 GB of system RAM for one, 32 GB for two or more.
- Works on PCIe x1 risers: the miner measures the link and adjusts itself. An A380 on a PCIe 3.0 x1 riser does 3.37 FW/s, the same as in a full slot.
Also new
- Arc A-series PRL ~2.2x faster: ~13.5 TH/s on an A380 (was ~6).
- The pool's dashboard now shows your CMFD hashrate.
- The bank download needs half the disk space (~6.5 GB free, was ~13), shows progress the whole way, and is safe on slow USB-stick HiveOS installs.
- Mixed rigs: non-Intel GPUs in the same rig are left alone, and HiveOS shows stats on the right card.
- Fixed: CMFD on Windows could not connect to some pools ("the message received was unexpected or badly formatted").
- Fixed: false "stale" / "STALL" on the dashboard for cards with long calls.
Full list: CHANGELOG.md. Downloads and SHA-256 sums below.
Windows: unzip and run blockz-miner.exe as administrator. Linux / HiveOS: see TESTING.md in the package; HiveOS uses blockz-miner-1.0.4.tar.gz as a custom miner.
Blockz-miner 1.0.3
Blockz-miner 1.0.3 - CommonFoundry day one
New: CommonFoundry (CMFD) - --algo cmfd, ready for mainnet at 2026-10-03 17:00 UTC.
- Intel Arc B580: ~23.5 FW/s stock, ~25 FW/s with
--undervolt 75(Windows), ~20 FW/s at 135 W for the best FW/s per watt. - The 6.4 GB model bank downloads and verifies itself on first start (~13 GB free disk needed while it downloads).
- Pool address:
cmfd+tls://IP:PORT?pin=...from your pool; wallet: your 64-character receive address.
Also new
- Windows:
--undervolt autofinds a stable undervolt by itself (capped at 80 mV). - Faster CPU mining: GhostRider +17% on Linux, +1.8% on Windows; VerusHash +3.2% on Linux.
- PRL: no hashrate dip when a share is sent.
--kryptexwith RandomX defaults to Monero.- PRL on Arc A-series (A310 to A770): ~6 TH/s on an A380 to start. Use a current Intel driver (clean install recommended).
Full list: CHANGELOG.md. Downloads and SHA-256 sums below.
Windows: unzip and run blockz-miner.exe as administrator. Linux / HiveOS: see TESTING.md in the package; HiveOS uses blockz-miner-1.0.3.tar.gz as a custom miner.
Blockz-miner 1.0.2
Blockz-miner 1.0.2
Pearl is 21% faster, and Linux / HiveOS are ready for real rigs. Windows is still one file, blockz-miner.exe, with its GPU kernels and the Intel runtime inside it.
Faster
Per Intel Arc B580 at stock power:
| Algorithm | Coin | 1.0.1 | 1.0.2 | Gain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
prl | Pearl | ~75.5 TH/s | ~92 TH/s | +21% |
The same on Windows and on Linux / HiveOS, with shares accepted on both. Other algorithms run at their 1.0.1 speeds.
Linux and HiveOS
Tested on HiveOS with two B580s: GPU and CPU coins mine with accepted shares.
- HiveOS package:
blockz-miner-1.0.2.tar.gzinstalls as a custom miner from a flight sheet (Miner: Custom, Installation URL = the link to this file). HiveOS shows per-card hashrate, shares, temperatures and uptime, and HiveOS's algorithm names (pearlhash,sha256t,sha256_csd, ...) work. A mistake in the flight sheet shows as a HiveOS notification. Setup table inTESTING.md. - No more crash on start on Ubuntu 24.04 / HiveOS with Level Zero installed: the miner now carries its own Level Zero loader.
- OpenCL is the default GPU backend on Linux, with Level Zero as the fallback, so a stock HiveOS works as-is.
--gpu-backendpicks one. --power-limitand--lock-clockwork on Linux and are put back when the miner stops. Example on a B580:--lock-clock 2300runs PRL at ~86 TH/s on 177 W.- Why a card is slowed down: the dashboard shows
PWR,TEMP,VRorHOTnext to the clock, and the live core clock now shows on Linux too. - RandomX reserves its own huge pages (HiveOS reserves only 256 MB) and gives them back when it stops.
- Clean stop on SIGTERM / SIGHUP, so clocks, power limits and the RandomX MSR tweak are always put back.
- HiveOS tip:
apt upgradeon HiveOS replaces Intel's current GPU driver with a 2023 one that is too old for B-series cards.TESTING.mdhas the two commands that put it back and keep it.

Blockz-miner 1.0.1
Blockz-miner 1.0.1
Faster on four GPU algorithms, a new CPU coin (Verus), and a first Linux preview. Windows is still one file, blockz-miner.exe, with its GPU kernels and the Intel runtime inside it.
Faster
Per Intel Arc B580 at stock power, 1.0.0 to 1.0.1:
| Algorithm | Coin | 1.0.0 | 1.0.1 | Gain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sha3x | Tari (SHA3x) | ~177 MH/s | ~428 MH/s | +142% (2.4x) |
prl | Pearl | ~65 TH/s | ~75.5 TH/s | +16% |
sha3t | BitcoinIII (BC3) | ~397 MH/s | ~429 MH/s | +8% |
qtc | Quantus | ~110 MH/s | ~114 MH/s | +3.5% |
csd, c29, gr and rx run at their 1.0.0 speeds.
- Quantus: if a pool rejects the new nonce shape,
--set layout=counterrestores the 1.0.0 behaviour (~110 MH/s).
New
- Verus (VRSC),
--algo verus: ~35 MH/s on a Ryzen 9 5900X (24 threads, 3.85 GHz). Works with luckpool.net, pool.verus.io and other Verus pools, and alongside a GPU coin:--algo prl+verus. - Linux preview:
blockz-miner-1.0.1-linux-x64.tar.gz. One binary with the kernels and Intel runtime inside, for x86-64 Linux with an Intel Arc GPU (B-series needs kernel 6.12+ with thexedriver). It has not yet completed a full mining run on our own rigs - treat it as a test build, run as root, and please report what you see (--list-devicesoutput first). SeeTESTING.mdinside the archive.
Fixed
- Pools that answer with a quoted request id (
"id":"4") are no longer ignored. - Stopping the miner while a GPU is busy (e.g. during RandomX setup) no longer risks a crash on exit.
--power-limiton Windows now says plainly that the Arc driver does not allow it, instead of blaming admin rights. Set the power limit in Intel Graphics Software.

Blockz-miner 1.0.0
Blockz-miner v1.0.0
A ground-up rewrite for Intel Arc GPUs and x86 CPUs. Blockz-miner 1.0.0 shares no code with the ARC-miner 0.x releases. It is closed-source freeware: free to use and to redistribute unmodified (see LICENSE).
One file, blockz-miner.exe (27 MB). Its GPU kernels and the Intel runtime are inside it, so there is nothing to install beyond your GPU driver.
Highlights
GPU rates are per Intel Arc B580 at stock power. Every rate in bold has had shares accepted on a live pool, as have rx and gr.
| Algorithm | Coin | Blockz-miner 1.0.0 | ARC-miner 0.3.x | Gain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
prl | Pearl | ~65 TH/s | ~34.58 TH/s | 1.9x |
qtc | Quantus | ~110 MH/s | ~38.05 MH/s | 2.9x |
csd | Compute Substrate | ~2.67 GH/s | ~1.58 GH/s | 1.7x |
sha3t | BitcoinIII (BC3) | ~397 MH/s | ~179-214 MH/s | 1.9-2.2x |
c29 | Tari (Cuckaroo29) | ~6.5 graphs/s | ~4.85 graphs/s | 1.3x |
sha3x | Tari (SHA3x) | ~177 MH/s | - | |
rx | Monero, Zephyr, Tari and other RandomX coins (CPU) | ~12.8 kH/s* | - | |
gr | Raptoreum (GhostRider, CPU) | ~3.1 kH/s* | - |
All at 100% power. * Ryzen 9 5900X, 24 threads, locked at 3.85 GHz.
- Pearl on a power budget: at 65% power a B580 still does ~49 TH/s at ~93 W. ARC-miner 0.3.x managed ~30-31 TH/s at 70%, so 1.0.0 at 65% power beats 0.3.x at full power.
- Tunes itself per card. On first start each GPU times a few kernel settings for each algorithm and keeps the fastest. Later starts reuse the result.
- Real dual mining. Every GPU and CPU thread belongs to exactly one algorithm, so
--algo prl+rxmines both at full speed. Each half can have its own pool, wallet and hardware. --kryptex [coin]picks the nearest Kryptex server, sets up failover to the other regions and turns TLS on.- Web dashboard with six themes, a JSON API and Prometheus metrics;
--power-limit,--api-password,--backup-pool, and an auto-loadedblockz-miner.json.
sha3x is included so all three Tari algorithms are covered. It matches the reference hash, but at Tari SHA3x's ~17 trillion pool difficulty one B580 finds a share only every few hours, so it has not had a share accepted live yet.
Before you run it
- Run it as administrator. Without admin rights the miner cannot read GPU and CPU temperatures, power or fans, and RandomX loses its two biggest speedups below.
- RandomX large pages (worth ~30%): the miner says at start whether it got them. If not, grant your account "Lock pages in memory" once (Local Security Policy -> User Rights Assignment), then sign out and back in.
- RandomX MSR tweak (Ryzen and Intel): applied when
rxstarts and restored when it exits. Install PawnIO and the miner uses it, with no antivirus trouble. Without PawnIO it falls back to the bundled WinRing0 driver, which Windows Defender flags and systems with Memory Integrity refuse. Either whitelist it or install PawnIO. One log line says which driver was used, or why the tweak was skipped.
Quick start:
blockz-miner.exe --list-devices
blockz-miner.exe --algo prl --kryptex --wallet
blockz-miner.exe --algo sha3t --pool --wallet
Or copy blockz-miner.example.json to blockz-miner.json, fill it in, and run the exe with no arguments.
Upgrading from ARC-miner 0.x
- Rename
arc-miner.jsontoblockz-miner.json. The old name and the old snake_case keys still work, with a reminder in the log. - Flags that no longer exist (
--intel,--cuda,--amd,--mpp,--budget,--no-autotune,--kryptex-cpu,--*-cpu) stop the miner with an error. Remove them. Use--set autotune=0instead of--no-autotune, and for dual mining put the CPU half's options after its own--algo. - NVIDIA and AMD support is gone, and so is Cereblix (
nm), which has no pools left.
Known limitations
- Intel Arc A-series and Meteor/Arrow Lake iGPUs:
prlneeds a Battlemage (B-series) or newer GPU and says so cleanly. The other GPU algorithms run on older Intel GPUs but have not been tuned for them. - No HiveOS package yet.
